Introduction
Anguilla is an internally self-governing overseas territory of the United Kingdom located in the Caribbean, stable in politics and economics. Anguilla common law is based on the English model supplemented by local statutes enacted by the local House of Assembly. In 1994, with the British Government’s technical assistance and funding, corporate and financial legislation was enacted with amendments made at the end of 1998, 2000. Nowadays, businesses incorporated in Anguilla are governed by The British Anguilla’s (B.A.) International Business Companies’ Act of 2000, and the International Business Companies Regulations of 2000 as amended. Anguilla has no capital gains, estate, profit or other forms of direct taxation on either individuals or corporations.
Requirements

Director: IBCs are required to have at least one director, which can be an individual or a corporate body.
